With access to professional tools, dedicated workspace, and a supportive studio environment, open studio hours give you the freedom to focus and make meaningful progress on your projects. Whether you’re finishing a class piece, working on a commission, or creating something entirely your own, Open Studio offers the space and resources you need to work at your own pace. During open studio time, you’ll have access to: A full stained glass workspace Professional tools, including glass cutters, grinders, and soldering irons Safety equipment (goggles, gloves, aprons, and fume extractors) Workspace tables and cutting mats Tools and chemicals for stained glass cleanup Consumable materials such as glass, foil, solder, and patina are available for purchase separately. Open Studio is ideal for: Students continuing projects from class Experienced makers working independently Artists seeking uninterrupted creative time Anyone who enjoys stained glass without committing to a full course Please note: Open Studio is a self-guided experience. Staff will be available to help you get oriented and answer quick questions, but ongoing instruction is not provided. Participants may work on pieces of any size or style, as long as they fit comfortably within the workspace.
